Question Clutch problem or something else ?

Hello boys and girls,
My name is John and new to the forum, but not new to riding scooters

Ok now the problem.
I’ve got a 2015 Superlow sportster with 4k on the clock. Today I did stage one. V&H 3 inch slash slip on, FP3, and kuryakyn hypercharger (i know, looks stupid, under performing and so on, but i like it), So all was bolted on, programed and bike is idling spot on. Took 30 miles ride one way no problems at all, but on the way back I noticed that when I roll on the throttle hard the bike just revs up and don’t go. It will do it at high speed or low speed and any gear.
Any ideas guys? What went wrong? Clutch springs too weak?
Thanks for the help in advance
John

Clutch springs should be fine for a stage 1 with only 4K on the odo.
I suspect the clutch was not adjusted properly and now with the extra power it is slipping, hopefully didn't slip too much on your test ride or you might have glazed the clutch plates.
Adjust you clutch as per the FSM and take it for another spin.

4000 miles seems way to few miles to have clutch issues. You might check the adjustment screw inside the derby cover to make sure. Good luck.

My clutch has many thousands of miles since last adjustment and still feels solid.

This^ and auto tune. the map you flashed is a starting point but it needs to be dialing in a bit with autotune.

Yeah get 2 or 3 30 minute auto tune sessions in and update as you go. Check the graph and when your happy with the green boxes flash the ecm

Hmmm? Ok, didn’t think about auto tune, but it ran fine for 30 miles. But why the map will make it sound like clutch slipping? Something isn’t making any sense here.

The autotune is something you can worry about once you have the clutch sorted out, it would have nothing to do with the motor reving up with the clutch fully engaged.

Right on HotLap, that's what I’m thinking as well. What bugs the hell out of me is why the clutch will go out of adjustment all of sudden, the thing ran fine last night stock.

Yeah it seems the Harley clutch is tricky to adjust and keep adjusted, I've never touched mine in 10 years and 40,000 KM (25,000 miles) of hard riding and it still works perfectly but some guys seem to have lot's of trouble with them, maybe has to do with how it was set up new at the factory I don't know.
