i wouldn't worry to much about what clutch pack you pick to be honest. I saved a few bucks $114 and got the energy one that most people seem to like. it has more friction surface then the other clutch plates, if you running a high HP motor then i would take that into consideration. im just stage 1 80hp, the stock clutch can handle much more then 80hp.

my second choice was the Barnett clutch plates. once i ruled out that i didnt want to go thru the install hassle of the scorpion 5 spring clutch basket install. here is the amzon link to the engery one

It's probably equivalent to the Energy One and Barnett sets you read about so many of us using, just costs more. If your existing clutch fiber plates aren't worn much, you could just get the plates needed to fill in the gap left by the riveted plate, think it's one fiber and two metal. There's some good pics along with explanation on this page:

I agree about what clutch pack, Harley is good enough, just costs more and both the other brands are supposed to have a little more contact area.

You can get just the plates with Barnett, don't need to get the scorpion setup, that's what I did. I'm satisfied with the stock 1200 motor, and any brands mentioned should handle that just fine.
