Got my Energy 1 clutch and extra plate in the mail today, I went with the 25% over instead of the 25%, along with the compression tool, now hopfuly the Gaskit kit will hit today or tomorrow. Have Weds. and Thurs. off to install it and I'm on the road again

Great clutch! 25 instead of 15? Good luck! Energy 1 also supports Harley and sportster drag racing!

Well things didn't go as I had hoped....putting back the pressure plate, I tightened up the compression tool to much and broke the pressure plate......new part coming in on Friday. Only good thing , it's only 20 bucks. There was rivets all in the basket, good thing I chose to do this, could have been really bad real shortly. I'll see if I can take some photos.

Boy you didn't get in there none too soon. Yeah just tighten it down enough to relieve the pressure and get the snap ring out.

My Energy 1 came in the mail yesterday (11.09) though I won't be putting it in for awhile. My engine's on the bench while I rebuild the top end but I got such a good price on the new clutch kit I didn't want to wait.

Keep us posted on how it goes and how you like it. What kind of dino are you going to use?

FYI, a $2 clutch compression tool is what I used to remove my old clutch.

I know what they say about dino oil....but I use Red Line synthetic 75W90 GL5 gear oil in mine with the energy one clutch with out any issues. There are others who use Mobil 1 75W90 gear oil with an energy one clutch with no issues. I believe one of them has 100,000 miles on his bike.
