I'm not sure if this will help anyone, but- I read on various forums that the HD relocation kit doesn't quite fit too well, and when you tighten the fork clamp bolts, they'll occasionally crack. I avoided the problem by putting a 1/16" spacer/washer between the relocation mount and the fork, to kind of keep it from binding. No cracks, and you have to really be looking at it to notice that there's a gap. Hope this helps. If anyone wants a close-up of what I'm talking about, I'll go take a picture of it.
