Default Should I save my stock mufflers?

I was wondering if I should save my stock mufflers. last week I put on Vance and Hines twin 3 inch slash slip ons. I personally do not think I will ever put the stock mufflers back on and there are no laws in Texas saying that I have to keep the stock exhaust.

I kept mine just in case the noise law changes and I get a "fix it" ticket.

No fix it tickets in Texas.
Keep the pipes if you.have the space to store them. Never know when you might need them. Parking lot acciden or something similar.Move to a place not as noise friendly as Texas.
Have to sell the bike to someone who doesn't like loud pipes.
Doesn't cost anything to put them on a shelf.

I kept mine a while before finally giving them to a friend of mine. Most stock pipes are of little value and to me they were just in the way. I would never put them back on my bike anyway.

I just put some back on my bike, got tired of the popping and noise so stockers went on.
Keep 'em you never know.

Got a set of stock pipes from an '01 Hugger, hanging from the garage ceiling. Got about 2,000 miles on 'em. Won't even fit any of the bikes in the garage. The longer I have them, the harder it is to part with them. They're from my OL's first Harley. I'll probably donate them with a smile and a handshake, to the right person, one day. Either that, or cut 'em up and have the baddest set of pipes on a 10,000 Watt generator for miles around. Hard to say what's in the future.

Regulations may force the price up in the future. Sell if another state (California) forces compliance. Costs you nothing to keep them.

I'd keep em, but I am kind of a parts hoarder. I still have my old helmets ill never wear again, and boxes of stock parts from my bikes (seats, exhaust, pegs, intakes... hell I still have a bunch of stock brake parts from my Buell that have been in a box for 11 years... Until I NEED to get rid of something, I tend to air on the side of caution ... as others have said, it doesn't cost anything to put em on a shelf...

I kept the stock ones for when the girlfriend will get the bike. She hates my pipes. But ill probably put her some quiet screaming beagle because i have no intention on removing the tuner so i am keeping them for nothing. The decision to throw away stuff usually come when i move. Surprising how things lose their value when you dont want to carry them.
