Default Last changes ... happy and worried

Well,

Last changes in pictures.

- Relocation of speedometer.
- Straight raisers.
- Drag bar.
- Air shocks.

My concern is on air shocks ... they seem to work very good, but i feel like a metal hit sometimes, but is not under bad road conditions ... i think something on the top of shock is hitting chassis so it comes the hit.

Hope you enjoy the pics ...

Use spacers or washers to move the shocks out a little. I am using spacers on my SG sir/oil shocks.

Thanks ... i just installed and the change is very noticeable.

Still have like a small "hit" that i feel, but is not due to spacers (lack of) or soft suspension, is like when the air shocks attach a step down, is not a soft feeling, is like a metal hit that transfer even to the steering bar ... small but is there.

any clue ?

thanks

Pato

Look at everything in the vicinity...
Sometimes under flex people have mentioned hits to the belt guard or other things that don't look close until the shock travels.
Other than that I assume you have checked to make sure the hole sizes match the bolts.
Only ideas I have other than shock internals.

Or you get a trusted friend to drive while you sit backwards on the rear seat and watch it in action.

What kind of air shocks do you have?

I have air/oil shocks off a Street Glide.....and yes, you need to be sure there is oil in the shocks. The air psi is adjust based on the weight you carry. I run 2 psi solo with saddlebags...I am 175 lbs

That belt guard would have been my guess as well.
