Looks to me like it's your drain pipe for the oil tank. It could get messy if it starts to leak, as it holds back the contents of your oil tank! How old is your bike? It would be wise to replace that pipe IMHO, the genuine article is around 12 dollars, although it may be a bit of a challenge to get the old one off. You'll also need a pipe clamp, as the stock one is not reusable.
That is a oil hose with a disposable clamp. You may have enough hose to just cut below the crack and reinstall or replace the hose. I had a hose that was leaking on the other side of my Sportster. The clamp needs to be carefully removed or do like I did and go after that clamp like a big monkey and break off the fitting inside the primary case. I found that a bike owner can rapidly escalate the situation with a screw driver and a hammer causing great sadness.
Yeah I definitely don't want to break anything lmfao. So dealership should have hose and clamp? I plan on doing it myself. I'm assuming it's a messy job. Any way I can do this without having to drain my oil?

bike is 2011. It's basically a daily so I haven't really been taking care of it like I should money's been tight. Will start to work on it a ton when my money game is right next spring.

It would appear you have a sportster and it was reported later as a 2011.
In 2011 there were about 9 sportster versions available.
If it is the oil line, it should not be that difficult to drain, capture and return oil to tank after changing the line.
But, oil and filter are not that expensive and an early service might not be that big of a cost unless you just changed the oil.
