Default Harley better start addressing all these problems!

I started reading all the forums not just the sportsters and I find not only are customers getting the shaft when something goes awry with their rides from the dealers right up to the ceo's, the service and quality of Harley is really starting to suffer. We must have a path to get this across to Harley before our loyalty goes searching for greener pastures.

'05 883C, 4 months, 10,304 miles, two oil changes, 1 seat upgrade, new mufflers for that Harley sound, no complaints = priceless.

Well, I had the drive belt snap after 7500 miles and I got it fixed under warranty, but I had to call 3 dealers before I found one that would do it. Other than that I have no complaints. Love the bike, love the reliability, love some dealers more than others.

Keep in mind that people are more likely to post negative stuff to blow off steam than they are to post about how great everything is.

Hey ******, how did you get 10K miles in FOUR MONTHS? I've got 13K in 13 months and I thought I was hot s hit.

Ride to work everyday 18 miles, trip home from work everyday 100+, funny how the trip home is so much longer than the trip to work!. Weekends 300+ just out exploring. I found that I just love to ride, don't care where, when or for that matter much who with. Mostly just out riding around home. I'm lucky to live so close to mountains with lots and lots of back roads. Our cars usually rack up 25,000 a year. Lucky with a tough a** I guess.

Only problem I've had is with the horn and the dealer handled it on the spot.

I've only had my Harley since May but the one problem that I had they took better care of me than I could ever expect. I have waited too long for my first Harley and I don't plan on changing my loyalty.

30,000 miles on a 2001 Roadking before totalling it, 3000 miles on my deluxe in a 2 months. Nothing more than routine service and alot of expensive add-ons. Some dealers are just jerks but the product is fine.

I had the starter clutch go out on my 03 RK at 17K, 2 1/2 years after I bought. Extended warranty took care of it $50.00 and 3 days. I'm happy with them.
