One broken heat shield in 10000 miles. Dealer fixed it with no hassles. Love the bike.

I love my bike - It's been 15 days running this time - looking to pass 21 days in a row without a trip to the dealer for repair (has been the entire season record and I but the battery in March 1st). It has been a nightmare, but I DO LOVE THE BIKE.

Proud owner '05 XL1200C , Stage One upgrade , aftermarket seat with pillon , lots of chrome , detachable windshield , 3200 miles in six months - new rider .

I bought a Harley because I wanted a Harley , not just a motorcycle . I do not like plastic scoots . My dealer treated me extremely well , BOTH before and after the sale , only problem I've had is with degenerative backing on a mirror , they replaced the unit , no questions asked .

After six months I'm convinced that I purchased the right make and model , and I would recommend the dealer without hesitation .

The Harley legacy continues .

Dude - glad to here your good news - heres some of mine - i'm on my way to bed, It has rained solid for the last 6 days - If I wake up in the morning, My bike will have tied the "all time record" for no trips to the dealer, for me - my replacment crome exhaust shield is in (welds broke off the pipe clamp brackets that hold on the rear sheild) and I have delayed picking it up since an " issue that isn't a non running issue" doesn't merit a trip to the dealer (figured I'd be out there anyhow why waste the gas) - don't get me wrong, I waited Years to get my dream - Lost over 100 lbs (fact) had my origonal order yanked out from under me 6 years ago due to an unfortunet life change in financial situation (lost 500/month in incom). The dealer not only honered my FIVE year old non-refundable deposit (currently in a frame on the wall), they have been good by me - the bike looks awsome and I love it - it just runs like a cat on exlax - or has in the past, hopefully it is fixed for good.

Had the #s reversed, I ordered the origonal bike (a dyna lowryder) - 6 years ago - all crome and black. Lost 500/month income a year later - had to cancel the order - three weeks before delivery - never expected to ever see the 5oo clams again and was aware of the non-refundable policy before hand. 5 years pased - Purchased my 1200c - all crome and black - when my wife and kids came out to pick it up, it was two bikes over from a - yep, crome and black low ryder. They were awfully close in looks being that close together - dam near twins. Agian - love the bike, and I too had the stage 1 mods done, with SEII pipes.

I think it has a lot to do with the particular dealer. I found a dealer I like and am sticking with them. I use to go to a dealer that gave you the run around with everything.
