Default Footboards etc for Sportsters

I have an 06 1200 Custom (forward controls). On a long ride I like to (have to !!) stretch my legs a bit at times. Has anybody fitted boards to a Sportster or pegs on an engine bar. Would either of these help with slight cramp ?

I have not seen boards, but I have seen pegs. The pegs help for sure. It is just nice to switch up on long rides. you can get them right from HD, and you do not need a crash bar/engine guard.

It's a kind of rare to find a Sporty rigged out like that, but I have seen all the items you mentioned for sale on the Fort Worth Harley website. I agree it would have to help stretch out, and the only problem you would have after that is just seat wear!

Check out the "Iso-Stirrups" about halfway down this page.

I haven't used them myself, but they look like they would get the job done and not mess up the looks of the bike.

I bought these off ebay. I put them on but took them off right away. I did'nt really TRY to make them work. I felt they stuck out to far to the sides, the shifter and the brake pedalplacementdid not appear to be functional "when stock". Maybe if I altered the shift rod and the brake rods they could work.

I used Arlen Ness mini-floorboards with my 2000 custom.

I recently picked up a set of HD heel rests, but I'm not quite sure I like 'em. I'll be putting them up for sale as soon as I get my $#!t together.
