Sorry for your woes Dallas...I'mtaking vacation tomorrow and Monday so I have a 4 day weekend! Weather here is good and I put my new SE II's on tonight so I'll be a riding..now if my Mustang seat comes in I may put some serious miles on in the next few days.. [X(]

 

I know what you mean Dallas! The weather has really been sucking!

 

I have been riding every day since I got my new bike but today we got rained out at about 3:30 and I new that this would be the first day of no riding SUCKS.


May have to ride out to Strokers one day this weekend.

 

I had to ride up to a little 'get together', but luckily it was only about a 200 mile round trip.

Was in and out of rain all the way up and back, but it wasn't as 'heavy' as the local weather stations had predicted.

Yesterday I got 'gung-ho' and cleaned and polished the FatBoy, something I don't do all that often. Rather than ride it, I decided to take the Road King, as it needs to be cleaned anyway.

Riding in the rain has always sucked, but it's just one of those things that happens...

 

I picked up my nightster may 3, and I have been caught in the rain twice so far. I dont mind rain, it the **** that gets on the bike that I hate, cuz it is so much fun washing it when you are already wet...[sm=scared09.gif][sm=shootshoot.gif]

 

Yea, it's been raining almost all week here in Minneapolis, too, but finally had a chance to get out for a short ride tonight. Finally! Now, if we can get some sunshine for the holiday weekend, I'll be in HOG heaven!

If you live where I live, you know what rain is. If I remember right, the longest rain we had last year was fifty some days straight.

 

I look at it this way. Light rain is no problem. Heavy rain, I'll wait for it to let up alittle. I'm going to ride damnit!!
