Default NON - crash bar highway pegs for Sportsters

For those that are interested in a nice set of highway pegs for Sportsters, I highly recommend the Harley part# 49053-04
support kit. It retails for $177.95 which isn't cheap but well worth it! Its the very best add-on I've put on my Roadster so far. They don't come with the pegs but there are many styles to choose from. For me, I just put on the standard H-D rubbers. These supports mount to the frame and not any crash bar. Here is a link that I hope will go through.

Thanks for that. I had forgoten about those, then when I saw some pics, I returned to my trusty accessories catalog, and there they were. The reason I forgot about them, originally I thought, for that price, I'd just add forward controls. But I might revisit that thinking.

They look the same to me. I sure would have saved alot of money with those. Oh well, thats the way my luck is. Most who know me laugh and say they'll wait til I buy something because they know it will either go on sale or they find it cheaper somewhere else. Go figure. [:@]

When I bought my 883 last week, the one thing I knew right away was that I would want highway pegs ... even though I am only 5 foot -4 inches !! So they threw those in with the deal, and I had to wait a few days for them to come in ... hubby put them on last night and I LOVE them.Even if I had to pay for them, they would have been worth the money.
