Tried to get them to add in the first 1000 mile service but they would not . I will do it myself and save the 300.00$. There are four Harley dealers within a 30 minute drive from me so I just called all four and took the best deal .
How much did you paid otd for your Harley?

And how do you like your new iron 883?

Sorry about that ? $ 8700.00 OTD . Another dealer north of me called New Caslte Harley Davidson told me they were having a special and would pay the freight . So I called another dealer and they matched it and also did not charge me for some kind of set-up bull-sh...t charge ? Very depressed areas in this part of Western PA . I also financed through Harley Davidson motor credit , it was less than a 1% interest rate . Like almost free money . I'am lucky and have a very good credit score . Both dealers informed me that they have alot of customers but very few in this area have any credit ? So sales suffer as a result, so I guess they are pretty hungry for a sale . I like it alot. It does have a high center of gravity and is heavy . Anyone who says it is a girls bike does not know what they are talking about . I have ridden big baggers , Fat Boys and some Softails. At least for me all easier to ride than a 883 Iron . I'am not a chrome guy so I like all the black, however there still is still a few chrome pieces on the bike . I just did not have the money to buy a Softail Slim , maybe in a couple of years . Plenty of power for me . I have put highway bars on my new bike also . I think you will like it . $ 9000.00 is a good price OTD .

Ok, So i checked the bike out yesterday. $8940 OTD, I wouldn't able to haggle for anything else but I guess I got a pretty sweet deal. Price included free shipping from San Diego to my house(100miles).
Interest rate is 5.99% for 24 months which is high I think.

One question, With the stock bar, I lean forward a little bit (my hands are short). If I want to ride straight position, which bars do you recommend?

you have that $8940, now reach out to your local credit unions. get you some 1.99% or less action.

do your own research on bars... you are asking everyone what shoes they like best... you'll get answers all over the place.

Sounds like you got a good deal.
If your not happy with the interest rate, try refinancing with your bank.
I'll take the rebates from the dealer, accept their slightly higher interest rates and refinance for a lower rate with my bank within 30 days.

I like the look of the z bar but it is very hard to know which bar feel good without buying and installing them.
Any method?

I got black denim 883 2016 Brand new for 9000 out the door in Memphis TN. No abs or security. The best thing to do is call every dealership the last week of the month before the new models come out. I sent every dealership the same offer online. 9 out the door and don't waste my time. Every dealer contacted me. They all have been fighting each other since Monday (Today is Friday). Some say the won't quote over the phone, then on Friday, the send me their best offer out of the blue via text message.

AND I got 3.99 rate offer from the dealer.
