All I'm saying is that mid 9's should include ABS and Security. It's doable and it will help when you go to sell or trade against a huge sea of sporties that were sold without. Also, those options saved my money on insurance.

Stick to your guns, make your offers on bikes with those options, and be ahead of the game.

$800 better then where you started. Sounds like a very fair deal.
Have them text you the OTD price, and then go get it.
The text is proof that's the agreed upon price when you walk in the dealership.

 

Are you saying another dealer will ship a bike for that price? If so, be a real ***** like me and show the other dealers that dealer. I did that with my sporty and it worked.

I would say for $9000 OTD your getting a pretty fair deal. I don't know any dealer that's going to sell below invoice.

 

I looked at it when I first start amking deal with them (I started at $8k) and they kicked me out of the door!
I come back again with $9k+gift card (not state how much) and they kick me out again. (Yea, they kind of rude!)

No fricking deposit if the sales person can't wait a day or two for you to go down to SAN.
Maybe if they fax or E mail you a copy of the contract first.

 

Have you looked at HD's website to get MSRP on black and then the cost of options? You can do all the math to get MSRP off the site. Then discount what you think is right (10%?) and add ST, title and registration- you're done!! No other fees!

 

I purchased my new 2016 883 Iron, no ABS in May at Mcmahon's Cycle Sales in Beaver Falls PA .That was the OTD price including PA sales tax of 6% . I ask them if they could pay the freight charges to their store and they agreed. They also bought me a 150.00$ Harley Davidson helmet . Tried to get them to add in the first 1000 mile service but they would not . I will do it myself and save the 300.00$. There are four Harley dealers within a 30 minute drive from me so I just called all four and took the best deal .
