Default Rain Gear Opinions Wanted

Lots of posts in the 50% rain ride or not thread. I do get caught in the rain often. My current pair of rain pants has worn out their usefulness. I'm looking to get some input on rain gear before I buy a replacement.

Furthermore, how about some solutions for eyewear. My Wyle-x riding glass fog up every damn time I get stuck in the rain. I was thinking about maybe getting some goggles or possibly figure out some type of anti fog treatment. I've tried to use rain x anti fog but I doesn't do a great job. I might try good ol fashion tooth paste. it works great for swim goggles.

Opinions please.

I have used a pair of RevIt cold weather and waterproof pants for a few years. I mostly remove the thermal liner and use it for rain. Lightweight and packs small. I also use a very lightweight waterproof hiking jacket.

Helmets, I normally use a modular with a pin lock shield when I know the weather is bad. Has never fogged up. But I also wear riding glasses that have a foam guard made by 7-eye when wearing my half helmet. Has never fogged up when I get caught in rain.

My Glasses have a foam guard as well but damnit the FOG! also don't want to fork out the cash for a new helmet although it might be nice for the cold months.

I've been using frog togs for 5 years.........

Either wear chaps over them (what i do) or get the ones with the heat shield built in pipes will melt them.

I ususally get two years out of a pair but i use them every day during the winter since they are windproof.

I've been wanting to get something for some time now. Last 2 rides we got soaked and we knew we were going into a rainy area... Those froggs look cool, but little pricey unless you get the cheapest one.

There was a harley one I found at a dealer a while back that had a built in stuff sack. Was very cool. Very thin too. I regret not buying it back then.. You could stuff it in a tool bag up by the forks.

I have the Froggs Toggs jacket and it is as good as their claims.
It is a strange material as it is almost like thick paper, but it doesn't leak or take up a lot of room
