Well, if you ever took a tumble, then the first thing most riders do is put their hands down to try and protect themselves, and "gayass fingerless gloves," leather of course, offer protection of the palm area of the hand, something that could lose a lot of skin and make a person very uncomfortable for a long time after such an incident, as well as making it difficult to do things with their hands, also, for awhile afterwards.

Not only that, but people who carry guns might have trouble getting their fingers on the trigger if needed if they were wearing full coverage gloves.

Also, some people might have trouble digging bugs out of their noses while riding down the freeway with full coverage gloves.

But hey, that's just my opinion, you're free to feel your manhood is threatened if you wear fingerless gloves or not.

Go easy on me, ******, I know I'm taking on the monitor and thatyou hold all power in your full gloved hands...

If your talking about the clutch lever getting your fingers black clean them up, what about clear coating them with some clear lacquer.

I wear those gay *** gloves only because my palms get sweaty and sticky, besides they go nice with my chaps when I wear them nude while riding LOL.

Ok...as much fun as this has been. I think I've solved the problem. Just used some Turtle wax on the things. Hey, it's what I happened to have in the garage. They look fine, and I rode about 80 miles today (so far) fingers are clean.

I know I could just get some new chrome ones, but that's not the answer I'm interested in.

Suggestions please..????
Polish your grips and spray on some Krylon Acrylic Crystal Clear Coating.

Ah...there we go. That sounds like a plan. I think I even have a can of that in the garage.
Hmm, better make sure those levers are super clean before you do that. Rubbing them down with isopropyl alcohol should do the trick. A better spray can be found at most better music stores believe it or not. Its a clear lacquer we use to coat trumpets, trombones and other brass instruments. It is much more durable than any over the counter spray such as the suggested krylon. It is also VERY clear, and resistant to just about everything (Except extreme heat - not for engine use). On top of that it is self leveling so in light coats it leaves a mirror finish with no sanding or buffing required. Dries in about 4 mins. Highly suggested.
