Headlight Replacement
#51
I just got home at 10pm, and I had to take the bike out for a spin to try the new light. I was expecting to be disappointed with this $59 off-brand LED headlight on every level. Fitment & install was a breeze as I mentioned. I rolled out of the garage and turned the key. The light came on and the first thing I said was, "Oh, the high beam must be on." Nope.
One word: SICK.
I popped on the high beam. Another word: RIDICULOUS.
Why didn't I buy one of these a year ago? My stock bulb seemed to be pretty bright, but the high beam seemed point off into space and was actually worse, so I seldom used it. With the new light, low beam is really great, and high beam...well, I understand the term "daymaker" now, because that's pretty accurate.
Even if I had to replace it yearly, it would be worth it IMO. I don't often say this, but "I couldn't be happier."

LED's in the front bucket??? #PRICELESS and well worth it!
I'm on the fence about the Custom Dynamic LED marker/signal lights for my 13'. BUT for front's and back with the load eq box...it's $270 USD. Just not sure I'm all in. Shame they just can't make the LED's with a special connector that loads right less this box requirement.

The load box was the least of my concerns. The real pain was the rear lights. I had to drill a small hole in the reflector of the rear turns and route 2 wires through the fender and back to the tail light. Back there, connect to wires for brake & run lights. Major headache.

No drilling or torture required

That would have done by the CD "triple play". It just goes in line. It also adds strobe options.

225 or less. Call shilo at 754-367-5596. (Www.ridethelite.com) he will set you up. You may not need the load equalizer.
You will not regret it.
