Kinda, but mostly no.
For whatever reason, cool moisture really sets it off.
It's all about my torso staying warm.
If my torso gets chilled just a little, the attacks start immediately.
I simply can't ride in the rain.
I HATE WINTER!!!

Cager attention and skill in the rain...do I need to comment more on that?

In my history of Sunday morning rides....didn't matter I'd rain or shine, heat or cold, fog or clear as riding time was limited.

With a great rain suit, rain was actually fun for me.

Yet, hail weather, that I did not enjoy riding in.
Yeah, hail is a different beast. Always a chance of hail in these SC summer storms as well.

I think the only reasons to ride in bad weather is, you got caught in it, or your only vehicle is your motorcycle.

I agree. That's why I try to look ahead and avoid bad weather.

Living in GA, I won't touch my bike if there's more than 25% chance of rain during the week (I carry a laptop to work). On the weekend I don't care as much, if i feel like riding I usually bring a ziplock for wallet and cell phone.

If its pouring when i get ready to leave for work i take the cage. 50% is not a high chance for rain. I can't count how many times 80% chance did not yield a drop of rain. Temp also weighs in. 85-90 the rain don't feel so bad on the way home. If you live in a city or have to spend most your ride on those grease slicks thats also a deciding factor. Thats not an issue where i live.

That's true, and I've had storms at 20% chance as well. Maybe I should stop looking at the weather forecast. It's been 60% all week, I haven't ridden my scoot to work at all, and every day I would have been dry on both the inbound and outbound trips.

Default 20%

I usually won't take my bike with over 20% chance of rain. Today it was 20% and I got soaked by a downpour. I had to clean and wax my bike because of my OCD. I hate riding in the rain, now I remember why.
