Stealer replaced this stator saying it was burnt. Mind you it was putting out over 14 Volts to the battery when the engine was on when measured with a voltmeter.

 

The one coil looks slightly burnt. How was the test done? Did you
check where it plugs into the regulator? Set meter to ohms check 1-2 2-3 1-3 if you have an OL on one of them it's bad.

 

I just had the voltage meter on the battery when the engine was on, and rev'd to about 2000 rpm.

 

You need to do a stator check to find out if it's bad. Unplug the stator and with the meter probe the stator plug 1-2 2-3 1-3 like I said if you get OL or open line it's bad.
