Looking for some reviews on this seat. Searched the Internet and not a lot of info on it. Looking to add to my Seventy Two. Anyone using it? If so, what are your thoughts?

Looks like the old "King/Queen" seat from the '70's!

 

Yeah. I looked hard at this one before I found my swap meet special. I really wanted a king/queen. The deal breaker for me was that it says you can't use a sissybar with it. Very curious to see it on a bike! Post pics to this thread when you get it!

 

I saw that to and might be the deal breaker for me as well. However, I found a picture of a guy that had the Throwback seat with a sissy bar on a Seventy Two. I emailed Mustang and asked for some clarification. I'll let you know what they say.

Here's what I ended up with. Not sure how it will "weather"... fiberglass pan, and the covering is presumably cheap vinyl. I had to dremel off a LOT of the nose of it to make it fit. I'm happy with it, esp since it was only $90.

If the Throwback will accommodate my sissybar it'll be my backup plan if this one fails on me. So far so good though.

 

Whoo hoo..... shipped today! Should went with dennis kirk..... was on back order with closer ebay seller... grrrrr.. oh well
