Update

Yep ship back to be re covered. But feeling it, seems the metal back support is what caused the problem. Can feel it right under the cut. The other side not so much. But just waiting for a shipping label. So will put some miles on this weekend if i can. On call for work.

Thanks for the update! Hopefully, they will get it all squared away for you. I ended up going with a LaPera Cherokee seat. Simply because it works with a sissy bar.

So what's the verdict on this seat? I'm thinking of buying one. How comfortable is the passenger part of the seat?

Only had it for a weekend. Was comfy for the few rides i took. All solo so couldn't tell ya about the passanger seat. Did however sit a tad higher and forward from stock. Should be another two weeks till i get mine back.

How sturdy was the back support on the rear of the seat?

That is what was the problem. It cut the seat. But seemed pretty sturdy. To qoute my wife... " if i was a twig b#/^ it would be comfortable "
