Looks great!

QUOTE=deadrubberboy;15247279]Here's what I ended up with. Not sure how it will "weather"... fiberglass pan, and the covering is presumably cheap vinyl. I had to dremel off a LOT of the nose of it to make it fit. I'm happy with it, esp since it was only $90.

If the Throwback will accommodate my sissybar it'll be my backup plan if this one fails on me. So far so good though.

Received confirmation back from Mustang that the Throwback seat will not work with a sissy bar. Onto the next option!

Makes no sense. What, after all, was behind every King/Queen seat in the 1970's? A "sissy bar"!

I agree!! Found this picture, Throwback seat with a sissy bar. Maybe the person modified the sissy bar somehow??

Just for general information: it will not fit with standard-mounted bars. Of course, if you were to mod the bar it can work.

Older king/queen seats required a bar, otherwise the back portion would not support the passenger. This seat has steel reinforcement built in, so it serves as the sissy bar and requires no extra support.

Got it, put it on the bike.... seems to sit a tad higher than stock, and is a tad narrowed at the tank over stock. Felt good for the 2 min i was on it. It is back in the box due to a tear in the back of the seat
