Default Recommend a comfortable 2 up seat

Who can recommend a comfortable 2 up seat?? One that sites the driver in a similar position to stock??

I know people rave about the sundowner, but there has to be one that isn't so fugly right???

Also, how comfortable is the passenger pillion from HD for the passenger?

Mustang Wide Vintage on both bikes. Over 50,000 miles on one and its still day long comfortable. Check the Sportster Classifieds or your local CraigsList.

There is no such thing as fugly, only functional! You can have as many seats as you want and swap them about according to what turns you on. However when carrying a passenger, he or she deserves comfort above all other considerations. Your local dealer may let you borrow a Sundowner to try - but remember to take your passenger along as well.

On my 1200C I run a Mustang Wide Touring solo seat with rider backrest, matching passenger seat, and HD quick disconnect passenger backrest.

Normally I run the bike solo, and keep the rider backrest folded up in the saddlebag (Plunderdogs). When needed, the rider backrest unfolds and pops right into the seat.

When I ride two-up it's a two minute job to install the passenger seat and pop on the passenger backrest.

I also have a sheepskin Buttpad for each seat for longer rides either solo or 2-up.

Run a mustang wide vintage touring 2up on mine. I'll do 500 mile days with no issue. My old lady says it's it's the nicest seat we've ridden on, and I've ridden baggers.

+1 Sundowner...

I keep my solo seat for me, change it out when riding 2up. Takes a second and worth it.

How do these handle the vibrations? I had the mustang vintage on my wide glide and while comfortable after an hour or so the vibrations were intolerable.

I'm a fan of Mustang seats, I've got a Mustang on my Sporty and my Dyna both.

With the stock seat & shocks, our '07 XL883C just about knocked the fillings out of your teeth every time you hit a bump or pothole. It was harsh. Changed the shocks to Progressive 412's. Changed the seat to Mustang Wide Touring. Couldn't be happier with the combo... it is a pleasure to ride now!
