I haven't tried any others but I do love my Sundowner. It keeps my butt nice and comfy as well as my wife's and hers is huge! Haha seriously it is a good comfy seat.

I tried a Sundowner, not even close to comfortable for me (6'3"), too close to the tank, too hard. Sat on a couple mustangs, seemed hard to me. What does feel good to me are Harley Pillow Look seats, and my daughter says it's way better in back, too, not just softer but wider. Bit large, but plush. It does seat you back an inch or two from stock. I got one for $100 on Craig's List, but you don't see them used very often.

I've got one (pillow look seat for the solid mount bikes) in my basement if anyone reading this is interested. Just been boxed up since I got the mustang seat. PM me if interested.

Yeah I could see that. I'm only 5'6" so it works well for me. I use it on longer solo trips as well becacuse the only solo seat I have is the stock seat and my butt is numb within an hour on that thing.
