What year is your Sportster? If it has a carb you should change to a high flow air cleaner and re-jet completing the Stage 1 to get the most performance out of the new pipes.

 

yeah its an 06 so its carbed. I have the rejet kit already, the Air Cleaner may have to wait a while, but its on the list. I just read that if the pipes cause the bike to go out of tune, I could blue em. So I dont want that to happen

Changing the pipes only on a carbed bike does not usually require retuning. On an 07 with EFI it would. You need to upgrade the A/C first & then rejet.
