Default How makes the best cable kits?

Looking to purchase some 8"-10" handlebars for my 48 and don't want to "stretch" the brake line like some people say can be done but a tight fit.

Who makes the best cable kits out there to purchase? Been looking at the Burly kit for like $199 but says for 12" apes and didn't really want longer cables if I didn't need them.

Thanks for reading

My vote is burly.

I have "chumps" which are 8" bars. I bought the burly 12" kit and just routed the cables so it doesn't look like a lot of extra slack. Plus if I wanted to get taller bars someday I wouldn't need to get different cables.

The chumps and burly kit are in my sig pic.

I went with LA Choppers for my cable kit, waiting on it to arrive from Dennis Kirk. They were the only company that made cables for my year Sporty to fit 20's

I also went with the LA choppers kit. Nice quality lines and cables. I used the mini ape (10") kit for 12" burly narrow apes and fit is fantastic.

That is the handlebar I'm planning to order next. Does LA Choppers list exact measurements anywhere? I'd like to see how the lengths measure up to the stock cables on the 72.

No problen. Ordered mine from Dennis Kirk during Memorial Day weekend and if someone would have been at the house Friday to sign I would have had them then. I also was able to get the kit for $140 less than my shop was able to through them. Just got confirmation my cables and wires got in today so if you want I'll take pics of them for a quality check

6'4 and long arms. My minis aren't cutting it anymore. I'll post pre-install cable pics here and then the after installation pics on my thread.

Here's the link to the thread. Should have the bike over to my buddies shop sometime this week for install out of convenience and lack of specialty tools.
