Default Viking Lamellar Hard Bags installed

Hey guys, when shopping around for some hard bags I couldn't find a lot of pics of these bags so figured I'd post a few. Not everyones style, but I travel alot and needed a nice set of bags! Plenty of room can even fit my half helmet inside them. I'll get some better pics up later was rainy out, the seat is barely on there because I need to wire up the lights still just wanted to get a couple pics while it stopped raining...

Here's a Link to the bags: https://www.vikingbags.com/viking-la...10893-prd1.htm

I've been checking out their brown leather swing arm bag. How was it dealing with them and shipping time? Those look really good on your bike. Like ya said, not everyone's style, but they suite your bike and needs well.

I had the black swingarm bag from them prior to these. Both times I've ordered I received tracking 2 days later and the item 2 days after that. They may have multiple warehouses but both times it shipped from Chicago. As far as their products both have been top notch quality......but installation is a pita. Even the swingarm bag the straps are on the outside and don't thread thru the inside so it's very hard to get them extremely tight to the bike. Customer Service is great tho, I ended up returning the swingarm bag and purchasing these. They were extremely helpful.

Well at least I'll know to drink a couple beers before I dive into attaching it. It isn't a need as of yet, but will definitely be needing one in a month or so when I plan out my weekend ride.

Swingarm bag isn't so bad I'm just OCD and wanted it really tight to the bike =) The hard bags on the other hand took about 4 hours and a lot of cussing but well worth the time and effort to me anyway lol. I found it odd that they make you drill your own holes into the hard bags.

More of a customized fit for your bike I'm guessing. Ensures that the bags are set specifically for your bike.

I, too, have a set of their hard bags, and mounting them was somewhat of an ordeal. But I got it right, and am pleased with how they look. Their prices are attractive also.

Those bags really work on your ride. Looks great and gotta love their function. All Viking bags are are made to be used on any bike. Kind of a one bag fits all deal. They weren't made exclusively to fit your Sportster. I installed a set on a Fat Bob and I've seen them on a metric as well. That's why they're not pre-drilled. They have no idea of what they'll be used on. Even the mounting brackets required modification on the 3 sets I've installed. Nice bags for a low price, though. Glad to hear you received good customer service. Hopefully they're improving on that.
