RE: V&H Straight shot vs SEII slip-on feedback
I think my V&H pipes are to loud. The quiet baffles are wrapped but do not tame the sound much.Great low rumble at idle and very throaty when on the throttle.I am probally going back to stock.Who knows. It does help cover up some of the gear clunk and engine noise.

RE: V&H Straight shot vs SEII slip-on feedback
i heard a bike that pissed me off the other day, it was so dam loud it was ridiculous. it was a chopper, but dam coming down the street literally you had to put your hands over your ears when it went by. And i love loud bikes, but that pissed me off, stupid ******* who wants to hear that. You could still hear him 10 minutes later blocks away.
what the hell could make a bike sound that loud? i have vance and hines and have had the baffles removed but dam my bike was but a whisper compared to that. It was seriously ear splitting. Like i said it was on a custom chopper so god only knows what it was.

I currently am running Screaming Eagle SE IIs and have no probems withthe sound or loudness.I ride with a buddy that hasan'04 Dyna withV & H pipes. His V & H pipes are definitely louder.I found a deal on some Straight shots and have them coming soon for my '03.I've noticed that the tonal quality is much different too.
I'll post up my findings next week sometime.
