With my exhaust there is a few inches gap between the frame and the exhaust. The Magnaflow is probably similar.

Ah! I think we have talked about this before my friend. Yes, as I had said, the bike is centered more to the business end of the jack, on the bottle side. That's where the most strength is on any of these jacks. I run the jack in until it bumps the kickstand, and pump away. There is about two inches of frame on the jack and clears any exhaust. There is no reason to worry about "centering" the bike perfectly on the jack. The least amount of leverage (and work) is toward the bottle side.

Hah! Indeed we have!

Not certain where I got the idea that it needs to be centered; J&S literature perhaps?

I'm going to test it shortly but I'm fairly sure that my bike won't allow the jack to be pushed in far enough to clear the pipe. I think its going to hit the stand way before that. Will test asap.

Lonnie, you got me looking from a different angle. Despite our previous conversation on a similar topic (different exhaust, same questions) I never, until just now, saw what you meant.

I need to be looking at how far the pipes are from the frame horizontally, not vertically. Front pipe won't be an issue, can tell that at a glance. Rear could be but I think its fairly likely that it will be OK. Not certain but likely.

Thanks for the insight and making me look at it in another way!

Great brotha! Hope it works out well for you. Pic man pics! Funny story, I have been shooting a "spoof" sorta J&S commercial today. My Son's tell me to shoot more review videos because I suck at it. Should be funny. I'll post it somewhere.

The bottom of the exhaust pipe will be just about even with the bottom-most part of the frame. Here's a pic of the Opreration Flatline Sportster with our Riot pipe which has the same head pipe section as the F-bomb. If you have any other questions, feel free to shoot us a PM!

MF's reply from PM if others are interested:

"Hi Wreckwriter thanks for contacting us. The only real difference between the 2 is the tip design. They both use the 'megaphone' style tip, but the F-bombs is more curved, while the Riot is straight, with the ribbed piece right a the end. If you have any other questions, please let us know! "
