I made a little oil drain out of a pop bottle, I cut the bottom part in a half, loosen the filter first, stick it underneath then spin the filter out. No more oil dripping on the frame plus it is free. Just want to share with you people.

I've been using the same, it works great. Just remember to remove the cap so it drains into the catch pan.

I leave the cap on and dump it into the catch pan after removing it from the bike.

I did that based on someone's recommendation here.. It captured a lot of the oil but some did drip on the frame. The bottle can't go under the filter completely becuase there is a casting part of the block under the oil filter which is almost flush with the filter sealing surface.. Am I the only one who experienced this??

BTW - iasporty - your sig pic looks like your carrying an upside down garbage can on your back seat!!

I use a 1L bottle.

denisl, if you still have oil on the frame, you are not doing it right. You have to place the bottle very close to the engine block. The oil change I did this morning didn't even have a drop of oil, go figure. I used to use brake clean to clean it after, not anymore.

Awesome, thanks! Perhaps a cutout in the pop bottle to match the place where the rib sticks out would help.
