swapping a 2014 forty eight fork with a 2016?

I checked into buying all the parts, think it was around 1500-1800 bucks

And theres really not a whole lot of parts. Both trees, both forks, the axle and the wheel.

you may need new spacer for your wheels.
i would love that front end what is your buddy getting instead roadster front end???
