Default 1200 Superlow T forward controls

Has anyone fitted forward controls to a 1200T? Just wondering what happens to the gear shift sticking out of the engine casing?
Thanks

Nothing. It stays there. A longer rod will attach to it to put your controls in the forward operating position.

Thanks. My mates just bought one. I fitted fwds to my old Dyna and you didn't use the stock shaft. Wasn't sure if it was the same.

If you look at a Custom with forwards the conversion kit will end up looking much the same, if not identical.

Thanks,
I note on the HD website that part no 33397-07A fits all models 2006 up. Would that be the same on ABS models do you know?

For the 2014 and newer bikes, the part# is 50700021 for black and 50700020 for chrome, at least for US Sportsters.

The easiest way to answer queries like this is to check the H-D USA site first, using the Shop tab. Once you have a part number you can check price and availability with UK suppliers. In this case your options for a 2016 1200T are these.
