Default 2015 48 with 4.5 Gal EFI tank swap

I know this has been posted a bunch of times. just want to post a pic of my bike with the 4.5 X1200C tank.I bought it off Ebay for 250 American.
Did not have to extend any lines. I used existing. Just cut my over flow hose down to fit. I am liking the increased range. Although it no longer looks like a 48. I am thinking of buying a Fuel pump assembly and putting it in my peanut tank so I can interchange them on the fly.
Hardest part of doing the tank swap was de installing the fuel pump.. It's a tight fit. just have to take your time moving it around.

Doesn't look like a 48 but it does look good! I like those bars as well! And the headlight too!

Just my opinion but if you raise the tank 2" it will sort of give it that 48 look again by putting the front of the tank up between the bars again. Also opens up engine area.

I did the same thing to my 48 (see sig pic). I really love the peanut tank but I do a lot of rural riding and I needed the larger tank. Got mine off ebay. You'll appreciate the extra miles between fill ups.

Thanks Julio. I think you will like the 4.5 tank and extended range.
