I love the tank and the bike! Looks good! I have a 04 custom with dual disks and apes, 19in wheel, windshield... Ect... It's good to be different and do what you like.

And yes I love my 4.5gal tank

Even from eBay I'm reluctant. They ask about $230 for tank. Then paintjob. And pump assembly. Now I have to pull off interstate in every 90-110 miles, not that bad really.

90-110 aint bad. paid for the 4.5 vivid black tank ready to install. didnt need anything just rinsed the tank witb gas and put it on.This was a good deal seeing i didn have to get a raw tank prepped, sealed and painted.and i wasnt gonna pay1200. to harley.

Forgot the seat. On my bike I need a shorter seat for 4.5 gallon tank.

Looks good! The bars are cool too. Here's a pic of my 13 Custom with DK Customs 1 1/2" tank lift and coil relocation to give you an idea what those changes would look like with your new tank.

Looks good.
Function over form +1.
You could experiment w/ tank lifts and all, yet looks good.

Did not have to extend any lines. I used existing. Just cut my over flow hose down to fit. I am liking the increased range. Although it no longer looks like a 48. I am thinking of buying a Fuel pump assembly and putting it in my peanut tank so I can interchange them on the fly.
Hardest part of doing the tank swap was de installing the fuel pump.. It's a tight fit. just have to take your time moving it around.
It looks great although no longer like a 48 as you mentioned. What kind of handlebars are they by the way?

Cheers
