If you want a bit more range but still like the look of the 48, why not get a Iron tank? still looks very good

The tank looks better on your bike than it does on mine--and mine is the one it is supposed to be on!

I'm thinking you did a fine job the tank with those bars makes it look sweet.

Jeff i had givin it thought. just felt better going eith 4.5 instead of3.3

Thanks i like the Center trim on tank. adds to thevintage styling with the wide bars.

Hardest part of doing the tank swap was de installing the fuel pump.. It's a tight fit. just have to take your time moving it around.
I envy you. I wish I could convince myself to do the same ($$$). Big tank for long trips, peanut for local ride.
