Default stock seat damaged my fender?

so i just switched from a stock seat to a biltwell sporty 8 seat. to my disappointment my rear fender had been damaged by my STOCK seat. any tricks to get rid of the paint damage? i doubt this would be covered by my warranty. i normally wouldn't care but as you can see in the last picture, it really sticks out. i put some touch up paint on the chips in the middle just trying it out. everything on the sides is almost like it faded.

im on a xl883n - 2015

The paint protection seems like a good option to protect the section under the seat. Some aftermarket seats have rubber tabs/legs.

Try using a light compound to tremove the scratches, then wax/polish. Not sure how it would work on matte black, but it works on my paint/clear coat

Denim Paint one can not buff out.
Sorry this is a difficult one to fix without a respray I believe.

Fill in the indentations with touch up paint, sand flat and maybe add a grey pinstripe to help hide the damage?

Good luck to you.

Yes that looks too severe for any kind of buffing, at least the middle part.

If you try to buff or wax denim paint you can turn it into gloss. My seat did similar but mine is sand denim so it didn't show much. I put some clear film over it I got from the guy that tints Windows at work.

Might have to get the fender repainted at some point.
