Darn this forum...always find something else to do when I see nice mods. RKZen, i blame you for this one...LOL. I sold my black battery cover but still have my oil cover so need to look for a battery cover and off to the painters...again and a few hundred$ more. But looks well-worth the change to bring out the color of the bike instead of all chromed out....it's the same principle as having black with chrome accents. Beautiful bike RKZen.

Here are the before and after pics of the bolts. Yes, definitely changed the bolts.

Now that looks very very nice, looking at these online for sale and thinking new chrome bolts would be a must to look right. may I ask where you found the bolts ?
I've found the little chrome covers for the rear axle bolts online really cheap. The front wheel bolt covers are the ones that cost way to much.
Thanks for the close up pictures !

mine are all metal. My lower belt guard WAS plastic before i replaced it with a chrome one. my bike is an 2007 so if there was a switch to plastic, i'm not aware of it.

Don't remember if it came with the cover or bought it separately. You probably can pick up the bolts from your local nuts & bolts supplier or the dealership.

My covers are chrome, the previous owner did a lot of upgrades on this bike.

What year is your bike...Yogie has a 2014 or 2015 and indicated the fit is a little different. Nice bike btw.

guitarfish, those chrome covers look good on your bike. Matches well with the shiny pieces.
