Gents, and ladies I'm sure,

Do any of you have any input or reviews on the screamin eagle street cannon slip ons? Are they any different with regard to sound and performance from the sock pipes on a sportster?

I fear I might have made an impulsive purchase too include the end caps.

Just wondering if they are worth installing our if I should just return them.

I think you need the end caps, no? Might be mistaken on that.

I have the SE mufflers on my 48. They are not loud at all, just a bit more than the stock exhaust. For me I'm on the fence with them and their sound. I was hoping they would have been a touch louder. On my Street Glide they were perfect (but that might be comparing apples to oranges).

 

I got them. They are louder than stock and about right for me. I don't like real loud mufflers. My bike is tuned with power vision and has a Hammer air breather and it rips pretty good so I can say I like the mufflers.

 

i like them, i dont like them real loud, they definitly look and sound better than stock. They make a short version that also looks pretty good
