1998 883, may be the only HD in Papua New Guinea, with the exception of a few WWII relics that are probably still laying out in the bush somewhere. It'd been in country since 2008, I've owned it since 2019. It's a little crusty, I admit, but is a daily rider. Stock handlebars extended to 34" wide, 15" Burly rear shocks, Race Tech Gold Valves in the front with uprated springs, chain drive conversion, Dyna dual fire ignition, lightweight 2-into-1 exhaust system, 19" front wheel on the rear, (for now), knobbies because all the roads where I live are dirt. Next mods: wire wheels (18/21) with aluminum rims (I've already built these) and relocated footpegs (down and back).

Wonderful picture, and it shows yet again how versatile a Sportster can be.
