This brings back memories.

We used to chop the fork tubes off a donor bike and hammer them over the forks of the project bike. Instant chopper.

Banana seats, sissy bars, ape hangers would round out the project.

Also for the final touch added baseball cards held in place with cloths pins for that the sound effects

Yup! Doubled 'em up for the "authentic" chopper sound.

I know I destroyed many baseball cards that way. Probably some that are now worth a pretty penny. Oh well, I had fun.

Default Funding required.

This is my favourite pic apart from the one sitting in front of the Sturgis town sign.
I wanted to make some changes to my 2014 XL1200T Superlow and personalize my ride. I still have some work to do with my air and exhaust just waiting for the funds to materialize.

Got my 17 Iron on Nov 29th. Picked it out and paid for it. Went home to pick up the trailer and drug it back to the house. Unloaded it, took a shower, and rode it to Jacksonville. Had 6 miles on it that morning, 250 by that night. So far I've swapped the mirrors to the bottom of the controls, pulled the reflectors off, and ordered a Corbin. As I found it at Manatee River HD
