Performance-wise, I haven't noticed any loss in low to mid-range power. The bike pulls hard and I can tail my sports bike riding buddies without them being able to shake me off.

However the pipes are pretty much scrapped now and the next change will be a toss up between Patriot Defender 2-into-1 and Supertrapp 2-into-1 exhausts whenever the jar for bike fund fills up again.

I posted a sound clip in the thread hscic suggested in post #5. I guess I could have just posted it on here for you but I obviously didn't think about it... Well check it out.

The video sound thread was initially created to help me decide on an exhaust system and morphed into a thread to help others see and hear the different types out there before they pull the trigger.

Thanks for posting...your Patriot Defender 2 in 1 sounds awesome. Your V&H big radius sounded pretty good too. I think anyone would be happy with either one. The PD is a little deeper, louder, and meaner sounding that the V&H. The question is the difference in performance.

The sound clip doesn't do the pipe much justice. There is a very noticeable difference in the performance between the two pipes. Haven't had it on the Dyno since install but I can definitely feel more outta the defenders on the butt dyno. With the big radius she was putting out 97 hp and 94 ft/lbs torque so it will be interesting to see the difference on the Dyno.

The only thing I didn't like about the big radius was they would drag a lot more than the defenders.

I have never run one but from the soundclip I've heard it sounds mean and is supposed to perform well. Here is one clip with decent sound.

I have Exotic Choppers "Fuellies". Short and LOUD! No baffles or oxygen sensors. Re-mapped with a power commander V. Wrapped with DEI titanium wrap and custom made the brass end caps.

Sounds great on the 48, hoping it sounds just as good on an 883!
