Default DIY garage door opener location (again)

Yeah, I know there's a big DIY garage door opener thread, but it seems
that they all had a "console" or fairing installed with which to locate/hide
a flush-mount switch. I dont want to use the High-beam or Horn
buttons for activation either. I've already got a small flush mount momentary
switch and small door-remote, but what I'm struggling with is where to mount
it or what to mount it in (small tubular survival container?).

I'm considering locating the button on the RH oil-bag cover.
I think a small tubular container would fit between the risers.

Anyone else do something cool or clever to hide it, yet still be within reach ?
(and no I dont want to just zip-tie an exposed opener on the handlebar)

Thanks for any ideas (pictures are a plus)

I have a keychain remote attached to my key. You should be able to get a small universal one and program it to your opener.

Yep, almost what I have
http://www.homedepot.com/p/Genie-Gar...3T-R/202808536

But what I'm wanting to do is "permanently" mount it on the bike, out of sight, and activated by a
flush-mount switch flush-mount switch
.

I dont want to have to dig in a pocket or have it dangling below my relocated
coil (ign switch is above coil). Make sense?

thanks again,

T.

Does it work well? I am okay with leaving with my ignition key. My garage door opener is in my saddlebag and a hassle to get to.

Also interested in what others have and where they mounted the remote...good thread.

I have a keychain opener attached as well, works great, especially with the DK relocation.

I'm too old school I guess. I still get off my bike, open my truck or the wife's car and punch the remote on the visor. What I want is an app on my iPhone. Looking into that one.

I built a small box lined with foam & attached it to the handlebars for my remote. When I am within range I simply press the button and BAM! the door opens for me. KISS

Thanks. It is cheap enough to try it if there are no other suggestions.
