Default Advice Needed 2016 Forty Eight

Ok, I've taken the Harley Rider course this past weekend.
Did some paperwork for the New bike, 2016 Harley Forty Eight Sportster.
They are offering MSRP / Sticker Price. I've been approved through Harley for 4.9% Financing. With taking the course, they are also throwing in a $750.00 Gift Card. Paying $250.00 a Month for 60 Mo.
Can ANYONE tell me what kind of deal this is, "Typical" "Good" "Go find another Deal", etc...this is my first bike and would appreciate some insight.

Thanks! Just noticed the MSRP is $11,199 and they're trying to sell it to me for $11,549.00

Im sure they added some emissions, and destination charges or whatever other BS they can tack on. I had the luck of buying my 2015 in July when they were trying to clear out the 15s to make room for the 16s. Dont know how long you want to wait but he said they do that every year running promotions on the APR. I was able to get .99% on mine.

Thanks for the reply! The price I mentioned above is the price on the actual sticker....after financing, etc, they're asking around $14,500.00...with the gift card they are giving me, I'm having a new seat installed, Willie G pegs and a new peg kit/pegs for the back and taller handle bars.

I was going to get better than that interest rate just through my bank. But I ended up getting that .99% Apr and the interest makes my student loans look like daylight robery. I would search around for a better rate if it was me.

I don't know where "Humble" is, but if you're in Florida there's no off season. Anywhere else it's the middle of freakin' winter.

Their first offer is MSRP because they're hoping you'll take it. Don't.

Don't add in finance charges, it'll only muddy the water. You've got whatever they're charging/asking for the bike, plus freight and dealer prep, usually.

There are places on the web you can find the actual markup, but at Sportster prices I'd figure around $2.000 +/-. 48's move pretty good, so they're not going to give it away.

I'd counter with $1,000 off the sticker, and no freight and no dealer prep.

Good luck!
