i am wondering which service manual i should by...harley, clymer, or moco...these are the ones i have read that people use.

Most people mention the original Harley one, it seems to be the best. I do have the Clymer manual which is good too, cost me $40.

moco is shorthand for motor company (AKA Harley). Get the harley manual. You will definately need the HD manual. If you have extra cash laying around, you could get the clymer too because it may have some pictures and explanations that compliment the HD manual, but don't get it instead of the HD manual.

I also recommend the Harley Manual, they just need to plastic coat the pages. Mine are getting a bit oil and grese satined. LOL

For accuracy, you can't beat the factory manual. The other ones sometimes have better pictures and make a good suppliment to the factory manual but, where they differ in spec's, they are not to be trusted.
