I love the sporty so far. I came from a sportbike and it was the only HD that I thought would have enough fun-factor in the twisties for me. I had ridden a few FatBoys before and thought the were like driving a refrigerator down the street lol. I guess it depends on your riding style.

i am male6'1 220 and i have the same 1200L and dont see any need for anything bigger and slower than the sporty. you made an exellent decision.

I've had my 1200R for two months/2000 miles now, and I love it. It's everything I need and want for commuting (part on gravel roads) and distance riding. All I need is some highway bars and a backrest, and I'll ride all day.

naw you didnt make the wrong desicion , the great thing about sportsters is there is a model to fit everybody . enjoy your new ride.

This is my third sporty 64, 79, 06 and the 1st and 3rd were and are great I hope whoever stole my 64 killed themself on it.
