been casing out ways to lower the guages. looks like a yankee ingenuity setup may be the way to go if the rsd mount sucks.

http://www.paughco.com/2008-catalog/...ge%20Tops.html

that with the gauge cups used on cx roadsters and newer 48s HD p/n 69200439 since yankee want $144 per cup and the roadster cups are $17. would just need to drill a hole for the odo button on the speedo cup. the yankee good come in black and i would end up with, i think, the clean look on the 48 and roadster while also moving the indicators into the topclamp

Hey Cvaria,

A while back on your thread here (post #673) you had reported a low compression reading. Any afterthoughts on this? Did you end up rebuilding the top end or something?

done to ignorance, that heat nonsense, and post build hypersensitivity, i did overreact and replace the cylinders but, got the same reading after, lol. The compression was off because of the cams. they aren't stock so i couldn't go by the compression specs in the service manual. lesson learned. should have been obvious from the jump but, hypersensitivity, ignorance, and inexperience.
