in trying to adjust the brake line situation on the from of my bike, i ordered 10mm and 12mm 90 banjo fittings to fix the wiggly line thing. part showed up and neith fits. i'm not sure where the error is.
the 12mm x 1.5 banjo bolt that came with the goodridge front tri-line has been in the mater cylinder since i switched to dual disks but doesn't fit the goodridge 12mm banjo fitting, which measures to 11.blah mm. thinking something was f'd, i took the fitting to ace and measured it ( need to get one of those measure things for the garage). it came out to M12x1.5. this is a pain in the a**. i will go by napa or an auto parts store after the holiday and get to the bottom of this bulls***.

The "Non-Fitter" is probably for a 7/16" banjo Bolt even though some may call it a "12mm banjo". You need a Banjo for a True 12mm Bolt.
What's the the goodridge # on that package...also you have a link where you're looking up the parts?
EDIT
You must have one like this Drag Specialties 7/16 AN-3 and need one like this Drag Specialties 12mm AN-3
.

this is the banjo that has denied me: https://www.jpcycles.com/product/240-786
i ran through the goodridge catalouge and found nothing. i did find thi same nonsense on the xlforum from years ago. i just ordered the drag part but, don't love the loose QC at drag.

Sportsters would be the ones with the issue...I think the only Harley's that use a TRUE 12mm Bolt is a 2004-later Sportster with Dual Discs...so not all that common.
Yeah JP lists it at 12mm , but Goodridge lists it as for a 7/16" bolt.
BTW, they do have a 12mm in 30°

closer inspection of the package.... i guess whole 7/16=12mm movement is is what caused the issue with j&p cycles. no worries. it will go back. sucks but, i'm glad i got this lesson out of the was before i replaced the lines. would have sucked to have this happen with a full custom setup.
