not hard at all. It would be a jerk move though.... cus the bike not going anwhere without the fob or being picked up and loaded on a truck.

but, what i think i hear you saying is cover/hide them. Yes sir. Will do.

good and bad...

cover came:

cleans up good.... but, i was being a bonehead and didn't notice that i wired the switch wrong. the lights come on when switched to the acc pole. didn't click til i started it up and there was no tach. derp derp

remedials: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...l#post14990538

Edit:
when i swapped the wires. i put them on in reverse. disaster averted.

put them back in the right order.... fixed.
  • ign= everything on
  • off=off
  • acc=position marker, accessory power only, brake light

Default 2018 Street bob/softail bucket confirmed

Looks like it is just the street bob and low rider bucket

Looks like it is the same as the diagram above but, there is an adapter included to adapt the softail headlight to front main harness lead to the older style 4 pin terminal connection.

i am not installing the bucket or the led. honestly the new daymaker is weak compared to aftermarker options in the same range for the near $600 you'd spend on all this stuff, it'd be better to get a $50 wisamic or other faker, a DK LED H4, a $375 trubeam/vortex/8690m, or drop large money on an 8690a.

the only real value in the signature daymaker or the 8620(terrible), is the look of the units. i don't get caught up in looks so more power to those that care about that stuff. the signature looks good. probably one of the best looking i've ever seen but, i'd rather see and avoid danger. i will consolidate all this into a separate led thread.

cased out a new tank and rear fender to have painted, started looking for shops to do the paint work, and ran into a roadblock on the above emblems. seems like hd doesn't want to sell these to just anyone. called local dealer and they are looking into the situation. nothing is simple.

@slvrscoobie :

How are your 3d printed goods holding up to water and heat? painted any of that stuff? that may be the alternative to getting this done.

boardtracker response:
They are VIN restricted and there is no way someone with a brand new CVO has already lost their medallion.

Lame. With all the talk of their #'s being down, and what must be a crazy mark up on the parts I can't believe they wouldn't sell them.
