if you have security on your (yours = TSSM w/fobs) bike, you can use a push button to turn the bike ignition on and off. no key needed. you can do it without security if you don't like owning a motorcycle. if you don't have security. you can add it with ease, cheap too. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...l#post14841653

i like the switch because i can lock it and there's the "Accessory" only option

here's with the big twin switch:

here's with the button:

dk's version http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/push...gn-rlc-led.htm:

the "get off my lawn" crew in the sporty forum don't like this but, them. according to those folks, anyone with a keyless bike can only turn their bike off if it is on the ground or out of gas... half don't even know keyless bikes exist.

Dig my push button. I have the FOB, but figure if someone wants the bike the push button isn't going to make it any easier really. Plenty of youtube video of bikes being stolen by means other than starting and riding away.

Plus, during installing the push button I learned how easy it would be to "hot wire" one anyway.

So I'm just wondering why you did not also order the VRod switch since
you're getting the mount & cover? Will your BigTwin switch fit nicely
in the VRod bracket/cover ? Consider asthetics as well, dont want
big gaps around the BigTwin switch inside the VRod combo...

thanks!

looks to be the same with a fancy red dot and no the hinged cover. i was worried about the connection but, it's the 3 blade and the mount has a wide slots for the connection. we'll see later. plus they'd want a vin to match the key to.

Dang I can't keep up... Didn't you already go through a review of
a bunch of LED headlights ? What's the issue with your current
LED headlight that makes you want something different ?

thanks,

T. (trying to keep up)
