I also don't know what I'm doing......
That being said, my memory of my break in period, was running much hotter for several hundred miles.
Maybe she will settle down after a bit? Can you adjust your map to run richer across the board for break in?
Again, I don't know what I'm doing....

yes sir. Not sure about other tuners but, the pv quick tune fuel options allow for a global enrichment.

Just a FWIW, an easy way to do this in Mastertune is to just set the
CID to a larger value. For instance, the HammerPerf recommended
value for 1250cc is to start at 80 cubic inches.

Has to be something dragging.... scored a nice 441 degrees

i'm going to go through the calipers one by one, if there's nothing there... maybe those new hd bearings are causing problems...

no idea what's happening

i tried enriching and it didn't make a difference heat wise, just a lot of bogging the engine down.

Nothing helpful to add. Just that I'm sure you'll get it sorted and you're a lot more patient than me. I'd be so frustrated. Thanks again for letting us follow along.

Not sure I was looking at the CSV file correctly, but it looks like
after a bit of time, your AFR is locked at 14.6 no matter what kpa is.
I would think with higher loads you'd want to switch out of that & go a
bit richer, but what do I know....

good luck,

T.

So here's the AFR & timing recommendations from Hammer for
initial break-in on my 1250 kit. Not sure it'll help, but will serve
as another datapoint to look at in your afr/timing tables.

AFR

Timing

glad i'm taking this beating now rather than on the dyna, that thing would explode with this kinda heat. just looked at the tune dynojet sent and it is just almost the same as above
